Palm Springs Aerial Tram
One of the most exciting attractions in Palm Springs, the Aerial Tram provides fun for all ages. Experience the adventure of riding the the world's largest rotating tramcars at the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. Rising over two and one half miles to a scenic wonderland in Mt. San Jacinto State Park, the Tram's two 80-passenger cars revolve slowly, providing a spectacular 360 degree view of the valley floor and surrounding area. At the top, you'll find hiking and camping in the summer and cross country skiing in the winter.
Desert Activities
Horseback riding is another popular way to explore the surrounding mountains. Smoke Tree Stables offers riders the opportunity to ride by the hour or throughout the day and can provide guided tours. If you're more inclined to take a scenic drive into the desert, try out a jeep tour. These adventurous tours take visitors to the San Andreas Fault and are a great way to see the rugged Coachella Valley.
