Swimming

Relaxing around our two pools is a great way to spend your vacation at the Desert Oasis. Because our pools are seasonal you can enjoy them year round. Stay cool during the warmer summer months or swim comfortably while the pool is heated during our cooler winter months.

Our large family pool is available for guests of all ages however, our lap pool is designated as an adult pool and is available to guests over the age of 18. This pool also hosts a daily aqua fit classes that are an ongoing favorite. Should you work up an appetite while swimming or lounging around the pool, make sure you visit our snack bar for a bite to eat or a refreshing drink.

Desert Oasis also features a spa that easily accommodates up to 8 people at a time. This is an amenity that can certainly help you to unwind and relax.

Fitness

The Resort also features a fitness room housing two treadmills, one recumbent cycle, an upright cycle, an elliptical trainer along with a four-station weight machine as well as some free weights. The room also has a television so that you can enjoy your favorite program during your workout.

Activities & Games

Perhaps one of our most used facilities is our activities center. The center houses a couple pool tables, ping-pong tables, air hockey and darts. Additionally there are a variety of games, and a very imaginative arts and craft program. This area is staffed by a variety of enthusiastic activities staff members that take pride in helping folks enjoy their vacations. This area is a must see. We constantly are getting raving comments from all our guests. For those of you that like to play video games, we do have an arcade located just off the activities center.

Cathedral Canyon Golf and Tennis Club

Enjoy championship golf and tennis at Welk's Cathedral Canyon Golf and Tennis Club. The Golf and Tennis club amenities are available to all guests staying at the resort for discounted pricing.

Laundry

Although our lodging units do not have washers and dryers, there is a guest laundry room with 4 washers and 4 dryers. Laundry detergent and fabric softener are available.
